Bebês ganham semana especial em Santarém

Com um show cultural infantil na orla da cidade, começou neste domingo, 17 de novembro, a Semana do Bebê, que tem por tema “O bebê e o mundo que o cerca”. A partir da manhã desta segunda, dia 18, as atividades sociais paralelas deste evento se concentram no Parque Municipal de Santarém, seguindo até o dia 22.
Baseado na cartilha “Como realizar a semana do bebê em seu município”, construído pela UNICEF, criou-se uma comissão organizadora com intuito de realizar a Semana do Bebê na cidade. Santarém aderiu a essa grande festa colaborativa, seguindo o exemplo da cidade piloto, Canela – RS, a qual originou este evento.
A Semana do Bebê é promovida pelo Governo do Estado e UNICEF, em parceria com a Prefeitura de Santarém, Secretarias Municipais de Saúde, Educação e Assistência Social, universidades locais, Projeto Saúde e Alegria, Secretaria Estadual de Saúde do Pará e Conselho Municipal da Criança e do Adolescente.
O objetivo desta semana é realizar ações sociais e comunitárias sobre a importância de se investir na primeira infância, mobilizando toda sociedade a apoiar as gestantes, promover o vínculo mãe-bebê, aumentar a cobertura do Programa de Saúde Familiar, incentivar o aleitamento materno exclusivo até o 6 meses, garantir acesso ao pré-natal, reduzir gravidez na adolescência e morte materna-infantil.
No Parque da Cidade haverá atendimentos especializados de saúde, como palestras, vacinação, consultas de ginecologista, nutricionista, exames de preventivo, teste do pezinho e da orelhinha, e de serviços de utilidade pública, como emissão de RG e de carteira de trabalho, além da entrega de kits de enxoval para gestantes, corte de cabelo e brinquedoteca. Durante toda a semana, haverá também atendimento nas unidades básicas de saúde e educação em saúde nas escolas.
O Projeto Saúde e Alegria foi convidado, como parceiro social, para participar da Semana do Bebê, com uma especial apresentação do Circo Mocorongo, no dia 22 de novembro (sexta-feira), às 10h, no parque.
Convidamos todos a prestigiarem nosso espetáculo e a participar desta campanha colaborativa de proteção às nossas crianças. Contamos com vocês!!
Dica ECA: No Brasil, apesar de termos uma Lei que assegura os direitos das crianças e do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA), considerado um dos documentos mais avançados do mundo na efetivação da proteção integral infanto-juvenil, a realidade ainda não reflete essa consciência sobre esses direitos. Ao investir na primeira infância, tarefa em conjunto assumida pelo Estado e sociedade, assegura-se às crianças o direito à proteção, à saúde e à educação de qualidade, promovendo a redução de desigualdades.
