Chegamos à mais uma festa da comunidade, este ano de 2013, deu inicio no dia 28/05, primeiramente com a transladação do Sagrado para a residência da senhora Terezinha do Carmo e no dia 29 círio percorrendo as ruas da comunidade. Durante a semana, haverá programação todas às noites com vendas diversas feitas pelas equipes que conduzem os preparativos às candidatas a rainha da festa, que também sofreu alteração, será na sexta-feira dia 07 e não mais no sábado como era de costume. Mudanças essas porque houve a preocupação das coordenações e é claro com apoio da comunidade em separar o religioso do social, uma vez que nos anos anteriores não vinha dando bons resultados. Dessa forma, o Suruacá a partir desse ano terá a festa do padroeiro e também uma festa da comunidade.
