Estimulados por um concurso promovido pelo Projeto Saúde e Alegria e após uma análise vimos a necessidade e a importância de realizar o projeto Nossa Gente, onde entrevistaremos e mostraremos em nosso blog algumas personalidade de nossa comunidade, o seu trabalho, seu modo de viver, histórias, suas peculiaridades e sua cultura.
Nossa primeira personalidade é a senhora Márcia Margarete de Oliveira, 47 anos. Mãe de 14 filhos, lavradora, vive desde que nasceu na vila de Boim. Casada e mulher aguerrida. Quandos todos os membros de sua família descansam à noite, sente-se inspirada para compor músicas que retratam a vida do ribeirinho. Já fez músicas sobre pescador, lavrador, culinária, violência contra a mulher, seringueiro e muitas outras. Além de compor também canta suas músicas e até já participou de festivais com seus trabalhos. Dona Margarete, como é conhecida, também atua em movimentos sindicais e vende pães caseiros na comunidade.
