A rádio comunitária Capixaba está localizada na comunidade de Capixauã, na Reserva Tapajós Arapiuns no município de Santarém, Pará. A rádio nasceu de uma iniciativa do Projeto Saúde & Alegria em levar a educomunicação permitindo crianças, jovens e lideres comunitários trabalharem não só o ato de comunicar algo através do sistema de rádio corneta mas, a informação no contexto amplo para difundir as notícias locais fazendo uma ligação com a educação comunitária levando dicas de saúde, meio ambiente oportunizando talentos locais.
A Capixaba 5.8 faz parte da Rede Mocoronga espalhada nas comunidades dos rios Tapajós, Arapiuns e Amazonas fazendo a interlocução das vozes da floresta com o mundo. Em 2010, a rádio recebeu um Sistema Solar para o funcionamento dos equipamentos, um notebook e um recarregador com capacidade para oito celulares. Tem a coordenação do grupo de jovens A Luz em Cristo Jesus – ALCJ, completando sete anos de fundação neste dia 12 de Maio.
