A Z 20 é um Conselho que monitora a pesca para que a mesma seja desenvolvida de maneira que não prejudique o sistema de reprodução dos peixes, devendo ser observado no período do defeso das espécies.
Na comunidade a pesca comercial é proibida durante o defeso. E fora deste período, deverão ser observados os limites de pesca para não causar danos às espécies pequenas evitando o desaparecimento das mesmas.
Os acordos de pesca da nossa região são aprovados pelas comunidades e órgãos responsáveis. As pessoas só poderão pescar nos lagos com a permissão da comunidade sendo que a quantidade de pescado será limitada pela mesma de acordo com a época do ano. E o estoque pesqueiros e direitos das comunidades de acompanhar e fiscalizar a pescar.
Aqui na comunidade definimos dentro de cada área quais os lagos e igarapés que deve ser destinado a pescar.
Para o uso da pesca de subsistência dos moradores e permitindo o uso dos apetrechos da pesca tradicional.

Muito bom saber que as comunidades estão despertando para a preservação das espécies de peixe,garantindo assim uma qualidade de vida para si e para os demais, já que algumas pessoas por vezes agem com uma visão imediatista, sem lembrar que suas atitudes trarão sérios problemas num futuro não muito distante.
