Festival do cajú
11 de novembro de 2008 por Elis LucienAconteceu no dia 18 de outubro, na comunidade de Novo Gurupá, rio Arapiuns, o Festival da Garota Cajuína. Uma iniciativa da comunitária Joceli Tapajós, pois ainda não era uma tradição mas foi criada, com a idéia de valorizar uma fruta da época, o cajú.
A festividade teve como objetivo trazer a importância do cajú, com os deliciosos doces, bolos, sucos, geléias e outros. Apresentações diversas e atividades esportivas aconteceram até o final da tarde.
Essa foi a melhor forma de saber o valor que os frutos de nossa região possuem, devendo ser mais valorizadas.
RECEITA
SORVETE DE CAJÚ
* 3 xícaras de suco de cajú espremido;
*1 litro de água;
* 3 xícaras de açucar.
Misture todos os ingredientes numa tigela e leve ao congelador.
Sirva depois de congelado.
