Jovens debatem conflitos territoriais no Oeste do Pará
13 de junho de 2018 por Ana CostaO Coletivo Jovem Rede Mocoronga (CJRM), é um grupo jovem multiplicador de informações que visa discutir as problemáticas associadas a temáticas sociais, como Clima e Território, uma iniciativa de vários coletivos jovens nacionais preocupados com o território ao qual estão inseridos. O CJRM conta com o apoio da ONG Projeto Saúde e Alegria (PSA), e realizou no ultimo dia 11, na sede do PSA, o I Debate Amazônias: Territórios e Conflitos Socioambientais do Oeste do Pará trazendo como subtema “Território: você conhece o seu?”.
O debate contou com a participação de jovens oriundos de comunidades tradicionais, em sua maioria acadêmicos, entre eles, Luana Kumaruara, 32, da Aldeia Solimões na Reserva Extrativista (RESEX) Tapajós-Arapiuns, que abordou a questão dos conflitos existentes para a garantia de seus direitos territoriais, ao que diz respeito à demarcação de terras indígenas. “Quando se fala de demarcação de terra é algo que sufoca a população indígena porque estão limitando o nosso território”, afirmou.
O jovem Benezildo Costa, 25, de São Pedro – RESEX Tapajós-Arapiuns, falou sobre as madeireiras, enfatizando a luta de muitos anos contra a extração ilegal dentro de sua região. Ele faz um apelo: “os jovens da Amazônia tem que ter uma causa para lutar (…), os projetos de empreendimentos afetam diretamente nossa gente, nossas culturas, nossos saberes e a biodiversidade”.
Outra convidada para o debate foi a jovem Delcilene Rocha, 21, vindo da comunidade de Santos da Boa Fé, no Planalto Santareno, contando sua experiência e luta contra a expansão da Soja e dos Agrotóxicos. Delcilene desabafa “infelizmente a gente acordou tarde demais na minha região, a quantidade de mata é mínima e é usada como máscara, só tem floresta na beira da estrada”.
A ideia do debate foi trazer à tona as violações dos direitos territoriais na Amazônia, ocasionados por grandes empreendimentos que ameaçam a biodiversidade dessa região. Para Walter Oliveira, 21, um dos jovens coordenadores do CJRM “a divulgação da informação através dos jovens locais, é um meio de abranger a população como um todo”.
