Água potável na torneira: Moradores da várzea recebem Sistema Pluvial Multiuso Autônomo

Após pouco mais de sete meses de expectativa, as famílias selecionadas pelo programa receberam oficialmente os sistemas de captação de água e saneamento, depois das etapas de mobilização, seleção, cadastramento, capacitação sobre o uso adequado da tecnologia e sobre a gestão da água armazenada e construção dos componentes físicos associados à tecnologia.
A assinatura do termo de entrega oficializou um marco importante na vida dos comunitários que até então utilizavam a barrenta água do Rio Amazonas para o consumo e realização dos afazeres domésticos, caminhavam longas distâncias para conseguir o liquido no período da vazante e precisavam filtrar a água para minimizar as impurezas: “a água a gente pega do rio, leva pra casa e coloca numa caixa que é puxada a mão e a gente ‘bota’ pra filtrar. Cada casa tem um biofiltro. Se viesse direto do rio não teria condição, é barrenta demais” explicou o pescador Waldir Rego antes da entrega do sistema de captação da água da chuva, e instalação de banheiros, que proporciona mais dignidade e menos de esforço físico no transporte de água. 
O programa foi desenvolvido através da chamada pública do governo federal por meio do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social do Programa Nacional ‘Cisterna’ de apoio a captação de água da chuva e outras tecnologias sociais de aceso a água é coordenado pelo Projeto Saúde e Alegria em Santarém e executado por três instituições contratadas para atuar em diferentes regiões: Nas aldeias Taquara e Bragança e Comunidades Pini, Marae e Acaratinga – localizadas na Flona a responsabilidade é da Asproc, na região do Lago Grande as construções de sistemas de abastecimento de água com calha e caixa d’agua de mil litros em cada residência estão são de responsabilidade da Somec e na várzea os serviços foram feitos pela Sociedade Para Pesquisa e Proteção do Meio Ambiente – Sapopema – que desenvolveu nas comunidades Urucurituba, Aramanai, Igarapé do costa e Correio do Tapará as construções de um Sistema Pluvial Multiuso Comunitário para implantação de redes de abastecimento de água em comunidades rurais e o Sistema Pluvial Autônomo que atende famílias isoladas.
Para o coordenador do Programa de Saneamento Comunitário do Projeto Saúde e Alegria Carlos Dombroski as unidades entregues suprem uma necessidade antiga: “É de extrema importância porque são comunidades isoladas, principalmente na várzea. A gente sabe do liquido que essas famílias consomem. Mediante essa implantação estamos levando uma água pura para essas famílias” – explica.
Sobre o Programa Cisterna
Em maio de 2018 foi feita a assinatura do programa que faz parte da chamada publica do governo federal por meio do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social do Programa Nacional ‘Cisterna’ de apoio a capacitação de água da chuva e outras tecnologias sociais de aceso à água.
O objetivo é realizar ações de captação de água e promover saneamento, uma vez que os m
oradores dessas áreas contempladas, não tem nenhum sistema de abastecimento. Em Santarém o programa é coordenado pelo Projeto Saúde e Alegria e executado pelas Organizações Não Governamentais Sapopema, Asproc e Somec.
São parceiros: Colônia de Pescadores Z-20, Conselhos Regionais de Pesca da Região de Urucurituba, Associações Comunitárias das Comunidades Beneficiárias e Prefeitura Municipal de Santarém (SEMAP).
