“Para nós jovens reflete a própria história, a gente não conhecia na verdade a história de São Pedro, e aos poucos a gente percebeu que a gente tem muita história, e isso nos emocionou”.
O depoimento acima é um breve relato feito pelo jovem Benezildo Costa, ribeirinho da Comunidade de São Pedro localizada na Reserva Extrativista Tapajós-Arapiuns. Ele e outros jovens produziram um documentário, o Doc São Pedro, que conta a história da comunidade, um resgate que os proporcionou vivenciar a emoção do encontro com a própria identidade.
O Doc. São Pedro foi uma iniciativa/projeto selecionada durante a 1ª Chamada de Apoio às Iniciativas Juvenis e recebeu o apoio do Saúde e Alegria no desenvolvimento das atividades, assim como outros 13 projetos de comunidades ribeirinhas e do município de Belterra. Este ano a 2ª edição da chamada foi lançada, uma oportunidade para que mais jovens comunitários possam enviar suas ideias e com isso incentivar o protagonismo e a autonomia juvenil. A chamada visa apoiar iniciativas que promovam ações voltadas aos direitos das crianças e adolescentes da Amazônia.

Benzildo tem 21 anos e é uma liderança na comunidade onde mora. Integrante da Pastoral da Juventude no rio Arapiuns ele também dialoga com outros jovens extrativistas de outros estados via rede social. Ele conta que foi um desafio para o grupo de jovens fazer o documentário. “A gente não tinha ideia de como fazer, mas nós tivemos uma oficina lá em São Pedro que deu luz ao documentário.”
Com a oficina de vídeo realizada pela equipe do Saúde e Alegria e mais o apoio e a orientação das lideranças locais a ideia foi tomando forma e os desafios iam sendo superados, tudo isso através de uma construção coletiva como explica Benezildo. “O grupo sentava, idealizava, pensava, nos inspirando, e juntos a gente ia construindo uma ideia com outras lideranças. Os problemas iam surgindo e a gente ia tentando, resolvendo conjuntamente”. O Saúde e Alegria acompanhou as iniciativas apoiadas pela Chamada dando apoio técnico, material e formativo.

A Chamada de Apoio às Iniciativas Juvenis também contribuiu para o fortalecimento de alguns grupos de jovens nas comunidades e de rádios comunitárias, como foi o caso da rádio Raio de Sol da Aldeia Muratuba como informa Adria Fernandes, integrante do projeto Aldeia Viva. “Temos a rádio comunitária que por um bom tempo ficou parada e agora com a realização do projeto ela também está se reerguendo e isso é muito gratificante”.
Os jovens que tiveram suas iniciativas apoiadas pela Chamada obtiveram novos aprendizados, redescobriram o local onde moram, fortaleceram seus grupos de jovens e passaram a acreditar mais em si mesmos.
