Sindicato dos Trabalhadores Rurais de Belterra comemora 22 anos de existência
16 de novembro de 2018 por Samela BonfimAtuação da entidade em prol da defesa dos direitos dos associados foi celebrada em assembléia neste dia 15 de novembro, quando o Sindicato completa mais um ano de atividade
Entidades parceiras participaram da assembléia realizada no barracão do STTR em Belterra. Representando o Projeto Saúde e Alegria, o Coordenador do Programa de Saneamento Comunitário do PSA Carlos Dombroski compôs a mesa dos ex-presidentes do sindicato. Dombroski foi o primeiro presidente quando o Sindicato foi criado em 1996.
Dombroski destacou que hoje é a instituição é a maior organização do município: “90% dos trabalhadores do município atuam na agricultura. Na assembléia fizemos o resgate de como foi esse período de luta para as comunidades e para as delegacias sindicais das três regiões; região da Bota – Belterra, BR 163 e Região da Flona do Tapajós. O sindicato hoje é a ferramenta principal para que os trabalhadores rurais busquem seus benefícios, apoio para melhorar a agricultura, e defender seus direitos na defesa da terra, abertura dos ramais e saúde” – conclui.
