Marcha a Ré crítica os retrocessos do governo brasileiro em relação ao desenvolvimento sustentável

Na tarde do dia 19 de junho mais um movimento se organizou e saiu às ruas da cidade do Rio de Janeiro para protestar contra os retrocessos do governo federal na área ambiental. Chamada de Marcha a Ré, da qual os participantes caminhavam em alguns momentos de costas, simbolizando retrocesso ambiental do mandato da presidente Dilma Roussef.
Os retrocessos foram bem visíveis nos cartazes levados por jovens, adolescentes e adultos que circulavam na manifestação. Eram frases como “Ministério do Meio Ambiente Inerte”, “Ubama e o Conama foram enfraquecidos” e muitos contrários ao Código Florestal Brasileiro.
As dezenas de usinas hidrelétricas que estão planejadas para serem construídas nas regiões Norte e Nordeste brasileiro também foram lembradas. Pedro Pico, de Brasília, é representante do Comitê Universitário de Defesa às Florestas do Distrito Federal e um dos organizadores da marcha disse que “os diversos retrocessos desse governo não condizem com o posicionamento internacional do País. Por isso estamos aqui para denunciar isso para o mundo inteiro aqui durante a Rio+20”.
Ana Hilária, de Santa Catarina, conta que esse é o momento de sair mesmo às ruas para demostrar que não estamos felizes e passivos com essas políticas pública do Brasil.
Jessica, de Piracicaba (SP) espera que o povo se mobilize realmente, “porque a (cúpula oficial da) Rio+20 no final não irá resolver nada, pois eles só estão interessados neles mesmos. É aqui na Cúpula dos Povos que o poder de comunicação é eminente, esse poder de junção de raças, credos e etnias”, afirma.
Ao longo da marcha, Jessica chamava as pessoas para participar, mas a população não aderia. Ela ainda disse que enquanto não afetarem os moradores de forma mais agressiva eles não irão se mexer.
Por outro lado, dona Kiteria, moradora da Baixada Fluminense, veio marchar com os jovens, com um pouco de medo pelo grande número de policiais armados e com receio de um confronto, “pois o Brasil está perdendo o direito a manifestação e que se houvesse um confronto seria de péssimo exemplo para o mundo que está focado na Rio+20”.
Kiteria disse que aderiu a marcha pelo fato de não estar de braços cruzados como outros moradores do Rio e por não apoiar o desmatamento das florestas. E por fim, Kiteria fala também que aderiu a marcha com o sorriso no rosto por ver que os jovens estão mais unidos e lutando por um planeta melhor.
