São Pedro é 
uma das comunidades mais desenvolvidas do rio Arapiuns. Nela se concentram cerca de cento e quarenta famílias, sua área tem mas de mil metros e sua organização populacional é bem grande. Ainda existe dois meios de comunicação que são muito utilizados, uma Rádio comunitária e um Telecentro. São Pedro tem um povo hospitaleiro e lutador em busca do caminho para ver a vida melhorar. É uma comunidade encantadora para quem ver se encanta com belezas naturais, como por exemplo: As praias no verão de águas cristalinas que dá vontade de se banhar e isso sem falar da nossa cultura.
