Maratona na Selva 2011

A Maratona na Selva é uma competição de auto-suficiência, que ocorre na Floresta Nacional do Tapajós. Que se iniciou no dia 06 de Outubro na comunidade de Prainha, e a chegada será no dia 15 do mesmo mês na vila de Alter-do-chão. Centena de participantes dos mais diversos países, tentarão cobrir o percurso de 200 km, que é divido em seis etapas com postos de inspeção distribuídos a cada 6 km, onde os atletas são monitorados por uma equipe médica e reabastecidos com água. A etapa mais longa é de 80 km e parte dela deverá ser percorrida a noite. Na final de cada etapa eles dividirão uns acampamentos previamente construídos pelos comunitários e apoiados pelo Exército e Corpo de Bombeiros. Os competidores levarão em suas mentes, grandes paisagens e momentos que serão inesquecíveis!!
