Santo Inácio de Loyola passa por restauração

Se toda a comunidade boinense se prepara para a principal festa da vila, o protagonista Sto. Inácio de Loyola não deve ficar de fora. Vendo que a imagem do fundador da Companhia de Jesus precisava passar por uma restauração, um dos filhos de Boim e irmão do atual bispo de Imperatriz nascido também em Boim, Antonio Carlos Pastana, motivado pelo povo católico boinense cumpriu mais essa façanha.
Portanto, no dia 15 de maio o inevitável aconteceu, o santo milagroso saiu de seu lar. Alguns moradores até se opuseram de início, pois isso jamais havia acontecido.
A imagem foi entregue aos cuidados do jovem Lucinato Lameira, restaurador de imagens, que deveria restaurá-lo e entregá-lo até o dia 30 de junho. Tudo saiu conforme o previsto.
Segundo Lucinato Lameira, a imagem que é feita em cedro estava totalmente deteriorada e comprometida pois haviam em seu interior traças, minúsculos roedores de madeira. Falou ainda, que a imagem não é oca e não guarda nenhum tesouro em seu interior, como algumas pessoas falavam pelos cantos boinenses.
No primeiro dia de julho houve missa Catedral de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, na Pérola do Tapajós em sua homenagem. O santo boinense chegou a Boim na madrugada de ontem, dia 03 de julho, onde foi recebido com queima de fogos, badalar de sinos, cantos e muita festa. Houve pela manhã procissão pelas ruas da comunidade, missa em ação de Graças, café da manhã com produtos da terra e churrascada.
Agora que o santo está restaurado, sua igreja passará por uma requintada pintura que inicia hoje dia 04 de julho. Essa pintura é pagamento de promessas, pelas graças alcançadas por um devoto de Santo Inácio de Loyola.
