Juventude discute o futuro em Maguari
7 de dezembro de 2008 por Monica de AlmeidaDurante os dias 06 e 07 de dezembro, estão reunidos na comunidade de Maguari, Flona do Tapajós, diversos jovens das regiões Centro, Tapajós e BR 163 do município de Belterra.
O evento promovido pelo Coletivo da Juventude, com parceria de entidades como Fase, Projeto Saúde e Alegria, STTR_Belterra, PM Belterra e outras, tem como tema: Cidadania e Meio Ambiente. Segundo a Educadora da Fase(Formas Avançadas de solidariedade e ação), Srta. Alebaram Moura, foi escolhido esse tema pela necessidade do jovem se ver como cidadão e defender o meio onde vive. Ela faz uma avaliação do evento dizendo que este, está sendo um dos melhores eventos de juventude que participou em Belterra, em decorrência de alguns fatores como a organização, tema, os instrutores das oficinas que estão sendo os próprios jovens do Coletivo. Disse que está sendo de bom nível, porque o jovem está falando para os jovens. Ressaltou que está sendo feito um rodízio nas comunidades pólos para a realização dos encontros. Ao concluir Aldebaran disse que espera que mais jovens participem do Coletivo, que se sintam cidadãos e com vontade de participar.
Josiane Vieira, uma das jovens participantes do encontro, moradora do Centro de Belterra, falou que o maior objetivo que percebeu do evento foi a importância do jovem discutir a Amazônia, achou legal as brincadeiras utilizadas para abordar o tema, assim como as oficinas e palestras. E espera que os jovens de Belterra cada vez mais se organizem para construir um futuro bem mehor preservando a Amazônia.
Reportagem feita pelos jovens MIzael Santos e Max Sohl, durante a oficina de Jornal escrito. Aconteceram também oficinas de dança, internet e rádio comunitária.
