I Conferência Regional Infanto-juvenil pelo Meio Ambiente do Baixo-Amazonas

Nos dias 6 e 7 de novembro, aconteceu a I Conferência Regional Infanto-juvenil pelo Meio Ambiente, em Santarém, no Hote Amazônia Boulevard. Foram dois dias, onde crianças e adolescentes de 11 a 14 anos, discutiram e falaram sobre temas ambientais locais e globais. No primeiro dia, pela manhã, houveram oficinas lúdicas que envolviam música, dança, teatro, poesia e desenho. E os meninos e meninas soltaram sua criatividade e seu amor ao meio aonde vivem.
A conferência regional teve a participação de 9 municípios, como: Juruti, Terra Santa, Obidos, Curuá, Belterra, Itaituba, Alenquer e Santarém representados por seus delegados e respectivos suplentes, acompanhados pelos seus professores, diretores e observadores. No final do evento, foram escolhidos entre eles, 26 trabalhos sobre o meio ambiente,aprovados em suas conferências municipais para ir representar o Baixo-Amazonas na Conferência Estadual Infanto-Juvenil pelo meio ambiente, que acontecerá nos dias 21, 22 e 23 de novembro, em Belém.
O Projeto Saúde e Alegria esteve trabalhando na coordenação juntamente com a coordenação municipal e estadual de educação ambiental, IPAM, Escola-floresta, Guarda-Mirim Ambiental, Professores da rede e com a presença do Coletivo Jovem do Meio Ambiente – Belém, na pessoa de Gilson e Ana Carla, animando esse público de meninos e meninas conscientes.No último dia, foi apresentado o Rejuma de Santarém, para coordenar e realizar as próximas conferências.
Essas conferências fazem parte do processo de construção da III Conferência Nacional Infanto-Juvenil pelo Meio Ambiente que será realizada em Brasília-DF, no mês de abril de 2009.

Não desmatem as florestas,
Não poluam os rios,
pois fiquem sabendo
que essa besteira
só irá prejudicar o nosso Brasil.
Pessoas dizem que o fogo
só serve para queimar,
lembre-se que dele sai fumaça,
que irá poluir
o nosso ar.
Os seres humanos
desmatam florestas e
pensam que com isso
irão ganhar, só que eu vou
logo avisando com a certeza:
a Amazônia vai acabar!
Terra, água, fogo e ar,
são os elementos que
os seres humanos mais
poluem, já sabendo que
poluindo “O MUNDO IRÁ ACABAR”
Vocês já tem noção
do que não devemos desmatar.

que as pessoas irão se
