No programa “Pelos Direitos das crianças ribeirinhas” do Projeto Saúde e Alegria, quando se fala em direitos essenciais de meninos e meninas, é fundamental tratar o tema meio ambiente como algo que faz parte do nosso cotidiano em nossas vidas. E se começa a aprender e praticar desde pequeno na nossa casa com os nossos familiares, os ensinamentos de uma educação ambiental. Somos responsáveis em proporcionar conhecimentos ecológicos às nossas crianças, para que elas possam crescer, respeitar e conviver em harmonia com todos os seres vivos e seu planeta. Seguindo essa idéia, as comunidades ribeirinhas, através dos seus meios de comunicação populares, já estão contribuindo com suas mensagens ambientais. A hora corre e as crianças também! O meio ambiente e nossa vida: Nós somos parte da Terra
O meio ambiente é muito importante para nós. Minha gente, vocês estão sabendo sobre o desmatamento das nossas florestas? Não devemos destruir o nosso meio ambiente, porque através dele respiramos o ar fresco, para nossa saúde.
Os pássaros fazem parte da nossa natureza. Água, os rios, o verde, que o Senhor Deus criou coisas da nossa Amazônia. A natureza é a nossa vida, o nosso caminho e nossa saída. O céu e os rios, são nossos irmãos, nós devemos cuidar do que é nosso.
Salva nossa floresta.
Salva nosso futuro.

Poluição ambiental
Temos um problema! Nosso planeta pede socorro.
Nós somos os maiores e únicos poluidores do ambiente. Para os que moram na cidade, a poluição é uma velha companheira. Visível a todos e em todos os lugares: na fumaça dos veículos e das fábricas, no lixo jogado nas ruas, nos rios escuros e mal cheirosos. Além deste tipo de poluição, contamos também com a poluição sonora cada vez mais presente. O barulho vem de todos os lugares.
Nós que temos o privilégio de morar na zona rural, compartilhamos da poluição de forma menos agressiva apesar de os agrotóxicos lançados sobre as plantações contaminarem os alimentos e os rios.
Para completar, estamos contribuindo para a poluição do espaço sideral: pedaços de metal abandonados em órbita, satélites quebrados e até escovas de dente esquecidas são os primeiros sinais de um futuro bastante diferente e nada promissor.

I do not know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing
