Neste, 01 de junho de 2011, a Secretária do SEMPAF, srª Ivete Bastos, juntamente com sua equipe, trouxeram até a comunidade de Maripá, 3.000,00 (três mil) alevinos (filhos de peixe-tambaqui).
Os pequenos filhotes ficaram dentro de gaiolas, onde serão acompanhados de uma alimentação diária (três vezes ao dia), até que atinjam o ponto de comercialização. Que varia de seis meses a um ano.
O projeto é uma iniciativa do SEMPAF (Secretaria de Agricultura Familiar) e ASCOPRAM (Associação Comunitária de Maripá). O mesmo visa trazer lucro e renda a todos os moradores da comunidade.
