Inaugurado o Pontão de Cultura Digital do Tapajós

Ontem, 05/11 aconteceu a inauguração das instalações do Pontão de Cultura Digital do Tapajós, um projeto que vem sendo desenvolvido pelo Projeto Saúde e Alegria em parceria com o Projeto Puraqué com o poio do Ministério da Cultura/ Programa Cultura Viva, Governo do Estado do Pará, através do Programa Navegapará e a Prefeitura Municipal de Santarém.
O projeto busca a integração das novas tecnologias para a promoção da cultura e a articulação entre diversas experiências de inclusão digital da região e pontos de cultura espalhados em vários estados da Amazônia.
Com a presença da Prefeita de Santarém, Maria do Carmo, na manhã de ontem, foi realizado um ato simbólico de inauguração do espaço localizado na Rua Barjonas de Miranda, 434, Bairro da Aldeia. A inauguração aconteceu durante o I Encontro de Conhecimento Livres que está acontecendo desde ontem com a presença de cerca de 50 pessoas vindas de diversos telecentros e pontos de cultura de Santarém e de outros eestados. Contanto com um infocentro do Navegapá com 15 máquinas conectadas à internet banda larga, o espaço abriga ainda um laboratório multimedia. Assim, além de cursos de informática disponíveis para a população, a proposta é valorizar a produção cultural de nossa região, que pode receber um tratamento audiovisual, virar um CD ou DVD ou mesmo um filme na Internet.
A Prefeita Maria do Carmo ressaltou que o projeto “é mais um exemplo de como as políticas públicas podem ganhar com o conhecimento que as organizações comunitárias tem sobre política comunitária e metodologias de inclusão social. A inclusão digital aqui é também a inclusão social por meio do acesso e uso das novas tecnologias”, afirmou a Prefeita durante o evento.
O Encontro de conhecimentos livres continua com oficinas até amanhã, sexta-feira e finaliza com a criação do Fórum Amazônico de Cultura Digital.
