Polícia Federal investiga morte do Cacique Crisomar no rio Maró

Aparentemente, morte pode ter sido por afogamento acidental, mas investigações deverão continuar
A pedido do Ministério Público Federal, a Polícia Federal fez hoje, 27/03, uma diligência na Aldeia São José III, onde o corpo do Cacique Crisomar dos Santos Costa, 60 anos, foi encontrado morto um dia antes. O cacique estava desaparecido desde o último sábado, 23, o que gerou muita preocupação na comunidade e a mobilização de lideranças e organizações que apoiam as causas indígenas na região.
A PF ouviu familiares e percorreu os possíveis lugares onde Crisomar teria estado no dia de seu desaparecimento. “Do que a gente apurou até o presente momento, tudo indica que pode ter sido um acidente, ter feito água no bote e ele ter se afogado por conta disso, declarou o delegado Gersivaldo Vasconcelos Ferreira à nossa reportagem em São José III.
Esta hipótese foi recorrente nos depoimentos que coletamos. Familiares contaram que Crisomar teria ido a um pequeno comércio que fica próximo à comunidade para pagar uma dívida. Um tempo depois dele sair do local, o proprietário e um frequentador do estabelecimento teriam visto a canoa do cacique semi-alagada, com o remo e uma sandália dentro. Eles, porém, não teriam avisado a família, que já estava em busca do desaparecido.
“Passei duas noites procurando meu irmão nesse rio. Me apavorei, sem dormir, sem comer nada. E só na manhã de ontem é que conseguimos achar o corpo”, conta o irmão do cacique, Josiclei dos Santos Costa. “Ele era meu único irmão, e eu sempre estava ao lado dele no trabalho comunitário. E eu agora não vou mais ter meu irmão ao meu lado” lamenta aquele senhor com a voz embargada.
Dona Gersineide Lopes Costa, esposa de Crisomar, lembra que ela e o marido sofriam ameaças de morte desde 2010, que continuaram principalmente quando a comunidade resolveu impedir a exploração da madeira no seu território.
“Me ameaçaram de morte em 2010 e depois disso foi meu marido. Um homem foi armado de rifle até na casa de um compadre onde meu marido estava, para ameaçar. Depois rodeava nossa casa. Tinha a ver com madeira, um senhor que morou aqui um tempo, tirava atrás da área indígena para vender para as empresas que compravam por aqui. O pessoal da comunidade veio pedir pro meu marido ir ver. E ele foi até lá ver no mato essa madeira. E ai começaram as ameaças. Por isso que ficamos preocupados por causa de não sabermos se a morte dele poderia ter alguma coisa com essas ameaças que ele vinha sofrendo” conta Gersineide.
Mesmo declarando como mais provável a hipótese de afogamento acidental, o delegado Gersivaldo Ferreira explicou que “há um fator dificultador pelo fato ter ocorrido de sábado para domingo, e o corpo ter sido encontrado somente ontem (terça). Quando chegamos, o corpo já havia sido enterrado por decisão dos familiares, por conta da deterioração do corpo. E a gente vai ter que ver como viabilizar um exame necroscópico, para poder comprovar se realmente não houve violência. Nós vamos analisar, provavelmente seja necessário uma exumação do corpo”. Se o exame for realizado, o que dependerá da família e das autoridades, o caso poderá ser melhor esclarecido.
“Ele vai continuar no sangue de cada liderança que ficou e em espírito ele vai continuar conosco nos dando força para continuar essa luta”, comentou Odair Borari, cacique da Aldeia de Novo Lugar, também na TI Maró, ao lado da sepultara do amigo de lutas comunitárias.
As organizações que estiveram na comunidade hoje, entre elas o Projeto Saúde & Alegria, ressaltam a importância da mobilização social criada em torno do fato, o que demonstra que a sociedade está atenta, uma vez que os casos de morte no campo tem sido crescentes no Estado do Pará, e a região de Nova Olinda é uma das que merecem atenção especial em função do histórico de conflitos.
