Movimentos Sociais da Amazônia vão ao Planalto reivindicar cumprimento de metas do Plano da BR-163 Sustentável

Representantes dos movimentos sociais de 58 municípios da área de abrangência da BR-163 (Cuiabá-Santarém) se reuniram na última quinta-feira (19), em Brasília, com representantes da Secretária-geral e da Casa Civil da Presidência da República, reivindicando o cumprimento das metas do Plano BR-163 Sustentável.
Na avalição das lideranças dos movimentos sociais o governo não cumpriu os acordos prometidos, publicados no Plano BR-163 Sustentável, em 2006. Questões como licenciamento ambiental, regularização fundiária, inclusão social e geração de renda local ficaram somente no papel.
“Além da baixa execução do plano, percebemos que a atual gestão não manteve o diálogo com os movimentos sociais da Amazônia”, afirmou Rubens Gomes, presidente do Grupo de Trabalho Amazônico (GTA), organização que congrega 602 entidades dos movimentos sociais da Amazônia Legal.
“Estamos aqui para restabelecer esse diálogo com o governo, principalmente agora em que a Amazônia se torna o principal foco de investimentos”, declarou.
Durante a reunião as lideranças apresentaram uma avaliação completa da execução das metas do plano da BR-163. O documento mostra que as ações estruturantes evoluíram, mas os compromissos sociais foram esquecidos.
O Secretário Nacional de Articulação Social da Secretária-geral da Presidência da República, Paulo Roberto Martins Maldos, admitiu que não conhecia o Plano da BR-163 Sustentável e que percebeu a ausência de diálogo com os movimentos sociais da região. “Mas iremos organizar uma reunião entre os representantes do Governo Federal responsáveis pelas ações pautadas no Plano BR-163 Sustentável para retomar o diálogo as comunidades da região”, afirmou Maldos.
No final da audiência ficou acertado um novo encontro, marcado para a primeira semana de março, para repactuar as metas e prazos com a participação de Ministros de Estado das áreas sociais.
Rubens Gomes considerou positivo o resultado da reunião e concordou, assim com os demais presentes, que a próxima audiência também seja em Brasília, “assim garantimos a presença dos ministros, que de fato tomam as decisões”, finalizou.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old
daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
