O Projeto Saúde e Alegria estará representado no TEDx Amazônia, um grande evento que ocorrerá nos dias 06 e 07 de novembro em Manaus, reunindo mais de 400 pensadores de diversas áreas do conhecimento em um dos ecossistemas mais complexos do mundo, que se distribui por nove países da América do Sul e é considerado Patrimônio da Humanidade pela Unesco: a Amazônia. Um encontro de interesse global que discutirá por dois dias como as nossas ideias podem melhorar a Qualidade de Vida das mais de 5 milhões de espécies do planeta.
O TED surgiu em 1984 como uma conferência anual na Califórnia e já teve entre seus palestrantes Bill Clinton, Paul Simon, Bill Gates, Bono Vox, Al Gore, Michelle Obama e Philippe Starck. No espírito das ideias que merecem ser espalhadas, o TED criou o programa de eventos locais chamado TEDx, que é organizado ao estilo TED, mas de forma independente.
O TEDx Amazônia é uma conferência sem fins lucrativos que reunirá mais de 50 pensadores de áreas de conhecimento tão diversas quanto arte e tecnologia, ciência e negócios, para falar sobre suas melhores ideias em palestras com duração de 5 ou 15 minutos. O tema desta primeira edição do evento será: Qualidade de Vida para todas as espécies do planeta.
O advogado, educador e artista circense, Magnólio de Oliveira, um dos coordenadores do Projeto Saúde e Alegria estará entre em palestrantes do evento, que terá também atrações como o poeta Thiago de Mello, o educador Bernardo Toro e o músico André Abujanra.
