Empreendedora Social de Santa Catarina visita Saúde e Alegria

No último 21 e 22 de agosto, as comunidades de Capixauã, Suruacá (Tapajós), Anã e Arimum (Arapiuns) receberam uma equipe de produção do documentário “A Saga dos Transformadores”, que está sendo elaborado pela Rede Ashoka de Empreendedores Socais e a Natura Cosméticos. A viagem teve o propósito de documentar o trabalho do Projeto Saúde e Alegria nas comunidades ribeirinhas, através de um intercâmbio em que uma representante de outro projeto social nos visitou: Thaise Guzzatti, fundadora do Projeto Acolhida na Colônia.
A Acolhida na Colônia foi criada em 1998 com a proposta de valorizar o modo de vida no campo através do agroturismo ecológico. Os agricultores familiares de Santa Catarina abrem suas casas para que turistas possam conviver no dia-a-dia do campo, gerando renda e valorizando a cultura local. São oferecidas hospedagens simples e aconchegantes com direito a conversas na beira do fogão a lenha, a tradicional fartura das mesas catarinenses e passeios pelo campo.
Foi com esse olhar para o turismo que Thaise conheceu as comunidades da amazônia e como é feito o trabalho do Saúde e Alegria. Em seu último dia nas terras mocorongas, Thaise concedeu esta entrevista para a Rede Mocoronga:
Fábio Pena: Como foi sua experiência de visitar as comunidades de uma região tão distante do seu estado?
Thaise: Foi uma experiência única, é uma realidade diferente e maravilhosa. Eu sei que tem uma série de dificuldades, mas quem está visitando não vê isso como mais importante. Nosso olho é para ver a maravilha que é, não só em termos de meio ambiente, mas especialmente as pessoas, o acolhimento, essa recepção calorosa. Realmente eu tô indo embora encantada e pensando como vou fazer pra voltar, porque realmente foi uma experiência única.
Fábio Pena: Thaise, conta pra gente como é feito seu projeto Acolhida na Colônia?
Thaise: Então, a gente trabalha com pequenos agricultores, agricultores familiares, que desenvolvem seu cultivo, sua plantação para o consumo próprio e vendem o excedente. Essas famílias tem uma série de dificuldades para terem uma renda extra para continuar nas suas terras. Então, agente desenvolveu um projeto onde o agricultor recebe pessoas dentro da sua propriedade nos finais de semana, nas férias. E convivendo com as famílias, o turista dorme na casa, come a comida que os agricultores oferecem com os produtos que eles mesmo produzem. Passeiam no mato, em trilhas, nos rios. Fazem todas as atividades que são típicas e estão relacionadas à vida do agricultor familiar.
Fábio Pena: Como surgiu a ideia para você criar esse projeto?
Thaise: A motivação veio da necessidade de valorizar a profissão de agricultor familiar. Eu sou de origem urbana e tive a experiencia de passar um mês na casa de um agricultor e eu voltei de lá diferente. A gente compra lá no supermercado e não sabe o trabalho de dá, a dificuldade que é produzir de sol a sol, e todo o trabalho árduo que é, mas quando a gente conhece, muda de atitude. Essa foi a motivação. A necessidade de gerar renda para essas comunidades. Mais do que isso, ter a a oportunidade de conhecer quão maravilhoso é o trabalho da agricultura familiar, e quão pouco cada vez é menos conhecido. As pessoas na cidade compram tudo no supermercado e não tem contato com quem produz.
Fábio Pena: O que mais chamou sua atenção nessa viagem?
Thaise: Uma coisa que me chamou atenção aqui é que é muito diferente. E a oportunidade de viajar lá do sul e conhecer uma outra cultura, uma outra realidade. Eu acho que as comunidades deveriam aproveitar mais o potencial que tem, pois tem pessoas na cidade que tem vontade de conhecer. E eu tive essa oportunidade.
Se eu pudesse dar um incentivo, que as comunidades organizem, apresentem sua cultura para as pessoas que vão visitar. Eu sei que nas comunidades onde já existe o programa de ecoturismo isso já acontece. Mas eu espero futuramente e poder dormir na própria comunidade e ter um contato mais próximo.
Fábio Pena: Estamos falando de ecoturismo, que é o que vocês fazem também. A proposta de ter um turismo diferenciado feito pelas comunidades. Que as pessoas possam ter uma convivência. Você acha que tem diferenças, mas você viu a realidade das comunidades. Você acha que tem potencial para as comunidades estarem aprimorando a proposta do ecoturismo?
Thaise: Não tenho menor dúvida que tem potencial. Eu sei que tem muitos desafios. A distancia, tem que ir de barco… Mas lá a nossa realidade é outra, mas também é difícil, também tem dificuldades. As estradas são muito ruins, são 60, 70 quilômetros para chegar na casa do agricultor. Não tem telefone, energia elétrica também é ruim, mas a gente não pode olhar pra essas dificuldades como um fator proibitivo, dizendo que não dá pra fazer. Ao contrário, olhar para essas dificuldades como coisas a superar. Como transformar o passeio de barco algo mais interessente? Pode ir alguém ir mostrando, contato histórias, falando da fauna e da flora. Não precisa ter uma casa enorme para as pessoas dormirem, tem que ter um mínimo de conforto sim, mas as pessoas não estão buscando luxo.
Eu vi umas casas de palha e fiquei pensando como seria legal ter dormido uma noite na rede lá. Claro que tem que ser super limpo, as pessoas não podem tomar água e ficar doente, enfim, são cuidados que vocês já trabalham muito bem com o Saúde e Alegria. Mas quem vai pra esse tipo de turismo não está esperando luxo, está esperando organização e autenticidade. Coisas que são tipicas, do cotidiano da vida ribeirinha.
