19 de janeiro de 2009 por Monica de AlmeidaEstou em Belém, aguardando a nona edição do FSM 2009. Delegações do mundo todo começam a chegar na cidade, informações circulam que pelo menos 4 mil pessoas já estão na capital, vindo de vários lugares do Brasil e da América Latina, estes aproveitam para conhecer a cidade e seus atrativos turísticos.
Visitei a UFRA, local onde se concentrará o Acampamento Intercontinental da Juventude e as obras por lá estão a todo vapor. Uma ds preocupações da comissão de organização é um possível alagamento na área disponível para os acampantes montarem barracas, por isso agora terá um outro local que servirá de alojamento, o auditório da UEPA, continuando a UFRA como local do Acampamento.
As principais atividades serão desenvolvidas no campus da UFPA, sendo que estão inscritas cerca de 2.500 atividades.
Durante o Fórum também vai acontecer o FALA – Fórum de autoridades locais da Amazônia, no HANGAR, nesse espaço haverá debates e articulações de autoridades locais com o movimento social mundial sobre a Amazônia.
A hospedagem solidária continua sendo a principal forma de conseguir recepcionar todos os participantes, pois os hotéis já estão todos reservados.

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added”
checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same
comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that
service? Thanks a lot!

Wow that was odd. I just wrote an extremely long
comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear.
