RÁDIO PELA EDUCAÇÃO ORGANIZA TERCEIRO ENCONTRO “A ESCOLA QUE QUEREMOS”
14 de novembro de 2008 por Fábio PenaO projeto Rádio Pela Educação promove no período de 4 a 6 de dezembro, o III Encontro “A Escola que queremos”, nas dependências do Colégio Dom Amando. O encontro é uma continuidade das duas primeiras edições do evento, realizadas em 2004 e 2006.
Neste ano o encontro pretende reunir cerca de 200 alunos(as) e 50 professores(as) das escolas municipais de Santarém, Juruti e Monte Alegre, em oficinas de meio ambiente, arte, educação e comunicação.
O encontro tem como tema “A escola que queremos: 10 anos educomunicando na Amazônia”. Além de estimular os alunos(as) a proporem a escola que desejam, o encontro abre as comemorações dos 10 anos do Projeto Rádio Pela Educação, lembrando os 60 anos do rádio em Santarém, celebrados em outubro.
O principal objetivo é promover a participação de alunos (as) das Redes Municipais envolvidas no Projeto Rádio Pela Educação em experiências educacionais que valorizem as expressões das crianças e adolescentes, além de proporcionar capacitação a professores na área da educomunicação.
Os alunos e alunas que vão participar do encontro serão divididos em dez oficinas educomunicativas, no sentido de promover o intercambio educacional e cultural entre os alunos, valorizando a diversidade local. Serão oficinas de comunicação para Rede de Repórteres Educativos; produção de programas para comunicadores juvenis das escolas; vídeo, internet, meta-reciclagem; educação ambiental; teatro; artes plásticas; cerâmica e jornal.
A novidade neste ano são as oficinas de educomunicação, Contação de Estórias e Educação Ambiental para os professores, que vão acompanhar as crianças durante os três dias de encontro.
Rádio pela Educação educomunicando na região
O terceiro encontro “A escola que queremos” é uma das ações do Projeto Rádio Pela Educação, que desenvolve atividades educomunicativas na região desde fevereiro de 1999. Surgiu a partir de uma proposta da Diocese de Santarém apresentada ao Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância – Unicef.
O projeto tem como meta contribuir para a qualidade da educação, bem como, a qualidade de vida de crianças e de adolescentes no ensino fundamental nos municípios onde o programa é desenvolvido.
O programa de rádio “Para Ouvir e Aprender” é uma das principais ações do projeto. É veiculado na Rádio Rural de Santarém e vai ao ar às segundas, quartas e sextas-feiras nos horários de 7h30 às 8h00 e de 14h05 às 14h35, sendo direcionado a alunos(as) de 1ª a 4ª série do ensino fundamental .
Nas salas de aula, os programas são ouvidos em rádios à pilha, à corda, à energia solar ou à energia elétrica. Para direcionar o trabalho do educador, um Guia Pedagógico do programa “Para Ouvir e Aprender” é produzido. O Guia, espécie de manual, contém todos os textos e músicas da Sessão Pedagógica dos programas de rádio, permitindo ao professor(a) planejar a sua aula de acordo com o tema abordado no texto/música e utilizar as sugestões de atividades com o texto.
Neste ano, o Projeto recebe o apoio do Projeto Criança Esperança Globo/Unesco e Fundo Nacional de Solidariedade da CNBB.
