Vocês já ouviram falar que de onde se tira e não se põe acaba? Não! Leiam e reflitam sobre o que está acontecendo com as madeiras das nossas florestas…
Diariamente descem balsadas e balsadas de madeira vindos do Alto Arapiuns com destino sei-lá para onde. O interessante é: será que a madeira vai legalizada? E mesmo que vá, será que quem está vendendo, não vai sentir falta quando quiser fazer sua barraca, canoa ou até mesmo para sua ganha-pão? Amigos, abrem os olhos e não entreguem, pelo amor de Deus, as madeiras que estão em suas terras para essa catrafada de pessoas, que lhe oferecem merrecos e pequenos favores. Sabem por quê? Eles vão deixar vocês e nós na miséria, com fome e sem nada. Eles estão destruindo a natureza, gente! É uma covardia de fazer isso com as florestas, e com vocês.
Pensem nos filhos de vocês. Eles vão precisar de tudo que vocês estão dando para quem não precisa. Deus deu a natureza para o homem viver, e não vendê-la. O pior é que vocês nem a vendem, vocês dão. Não façam isso!
Aos madereiros: vocês não são Deus, mas tenham piedade de nós. Não destruam a natureza, ela é linda e é a fonte da vida. É lá que tem as matas, os rios. É das matas que vem o ar que respiramos, é dos rios que vem a água que bebemos. Pensem nisso, evitem a riqueza gerar a pobreza. Por favor!

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave
it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
