Alteração do Código Florestal é adiada

Esta semana vivemos momentos de muita apreensão pelo futuro das florestas do Brasil e o desenvolvimento sustentável. Nos últimos dias 10 e 11, na Câmara dos Deputados, em Brasília/DF, estava para ser votado o relatório do deputado Aldo Rebelo (PcdoB-SP) para um novo Código Florestal, que estabelece regras para o uso e a ocupação do solo no país. O que está em jogo principalmente, é a equação entre a preservação de rios, florestas e encostas e a produção agropecuária no país, nos seus diferentes biomas: pampas, mata atlântica, cerrado, pantanal, caatinga e a amazônia.
Os movimentos sociais e ambientalistas que lutam pela proteção das florestas, como uma fonte de riqueza que não pode ser jogada abaixo para, por exemplo, o plantio de soja e a criação de gado desordenada, como vem acontecendo em muitas regiões da amazônia, lutam contra o poder de setores mais atrasados da política brasileira que vem desde os tempos da UDR, a agora chamada de bancada ruralista. Tudo serve para justificar a produção de alimentos do país, e a importância da agricultura na economia brasileira.
Ruralistas acusam ambientalistas de serem contra o desenvolvimento do país e usam repetidamente a falácia de que estão todos lutando pelos interesses internacionais, enquanto se percebe claramente que muitos desses deputados lutam pelos seus interesses pessoais, visto que vários deles, são grandes latifundiários ou envolvidos em escândalos de grilagem de terras públicas. Não é atoa que querem o perdão para crimes ambientais já cometidos e o relaxamento da legislação atual.
As principais alterações que o projeto prevê no Código Florestal referem-se ao cálculo da reserva legal dentro das propriedades rurais, às áreas de preservação permanente – como margens de rios, morros e montanhas – e à anistia dos crimes ambientais para aqueles que desmataram a floresta
Enquanto por repetidas horas na sessão da câmara do dia 11, se ouviam todo o tipo de verborragia sobre o assunto, o Deputado Aldo Rebelo tentava encontrar acordo entre líderes partidários e o governo para votar o projeto. O neoruralista, como está sendo apelidado por ter demonstrado seguidas vezes ceder às pressões da bancada ruralista, viu seu projeto novamente não ser votado no último dia 11.
O líder do governo na Câmara, deputado Cândido Vaccarezza (PT-SP) solicitou o adiamento da votação para a próxima terça-feira (17). “Esse é um tema muito sério para o país e a maioria dos líderes decidiu que era melhor adiar para estudar melhor o texto”, destacou Vaccarezza.
O motivo é justificado por Vaccarezza e vários outros deputados é que o relator alterou a redação do relatório na última hora. Segundo o deputado Paulo Teixeira (SP), a proposta levada ao plenário, por volta das 22 horas, era diferente daquela que ele leu às 21h.
Em seu twitter, a ex-senadora Marina Silva, que exerceu importante papel nas discussões, escreveu: “Estou no plenário da Câmara. Aldo Rebelo apresentou um novo texto, com novas pegadinhas, minutos antes da votação. Como pode ser votado?”.
Em um surto de irritação, Aldo Rebelo resolveu atacar Marina Silva e seu Marido. Aldo afirmou que Fábio Vaz de Lima foi quem praticou contrabando de madeira ilegal. Marina Silva classificou as acusações do deputado Aldo Rebelo como “falsas e levianas”. “Não tenho nenhum receio em relação às acusações assacadas contra minha honra e a de meu marido”, disse Marina durante entrevista coletiva concedida na tarde de quinta-feira. Marco Maia encerrou a sessão cerca das 1h da manhã por falta de quórum. Foram quatro requerimentos e 15 exaustivas de 190 parlamentares presentes. Está marcada para a próxima terça-feira, dia 17 mais uma sessão da Câmara para debater o Código Florestal. Até lá esperamos que nossos políticos tenham um pouquinho mais de lucidez e pensem que o futuro depende do que for feito hoje.
