A Vila de Boim prepara-se para receber do Governo Estadual, novo grupo gerador que substituirá o atual. Já foi construída a nova usina nos padrões modernos que alojará o referido motor. Enquanto não chega, os coordenadores e consumidores seguem os trabalhos preparativos para que não se tenha problemas graves com postes de alta e baixa tensão, pois alguns antigos estão comprometidos devido ação do tempo, os mesmos estão desde a sua instalação. As redes elétricas não mais estão balanceadas, ocorrendo desperdício de energia por serem de fios finos e até possibilitam curto circuito em momentos de vento forte quando temos de desligar o gerador para não perdê-lo. Sonhamos com uma energia forte e contínua do programa do governo Federal “Luz para todos” que tornará mais barata do que estamos pagando atualmente. Temo no futuro, com o funcionamento deste novo grupo gerador, termos que desembolsar importância maior e ser o tempo atual de apenas 03 (três) horas a noite ou até mesmo menos. Tomara que não tenhamos grandes e potentes motores e não possamos usá-los devido alto consumo de combustível, pois hoje o energia da comunidade é mantida por mais ou menos sessenta usuários, não havendo ajuda do governo para baratear o custo e termos mais horas de funcionamento.
