Sim ao Tapajós e outros sins

Dizer sim ao Tapajós e ao Carajás no plebiscito de 11 de dezembro. Só que junto vai um outro sim, na verdade, uma sucessão de sins. Foi mais ou menos esta a decisão tomada por um grupo de trabalhadores representantes de entidades populares de sete municípios do Oeste, reunidos em Santarém, no fim de semana.
Trabalhadores representantes de sete municípios: o SIM não é aval aos "coronéis"
É esta a proposta que levam de volta a seus municípios e comunidades, onde farão reuniões com grupos de trabalhadores, esclarecendo do que mesmo trata esse plebiscito.
O sim básico é aquele que já está nas ruas e estará na televisão e no rádio a partir de 13 de setembro. Os demais sins são aqueles que são sonegados pelos políticos tradicionais que estão se apresentando como “pais” e “mães” do projeto de emancipação.
Ora, a palavra emancipação significa o desejo de caminhar com as próprias pernas e cabeças, decidir seu futuro sem interferências externas nocivas. Emancipar, no fundo, significa buscar novas formas de relação social em que, se não desaparecem, pelo menos sejam atenuados os velhos modos de exploração dos trabalhadores pelos donos do capital e de todas as outras formas de poder.
Criar um novo Estado para reproduzir as mesmíssimas formas de exploração, de corrupção, de desmandos e de desleixo com a coisa pública, para que servirá esse esforço? Dizer sim no dia 11 de dezembro não significará, portanto, um aval aos políticos tradicionais para que continuem, com mais força, com as mesmas práticas de sempre.
Daí que, ao dizer sim no plebiscito, cada eleitor deverá estar também dizendo: os trabalhadores, o povo por suas organizações, precisam participar da assembléia que vai escrever a Constituição do novo Estado, para que a lei maior abra espaços à participação efetiva da sociedade organizada, a fim de que os recursos provenientes dos impostos que todos pagamos sejam empregados na construção de uma sociedade mais justa e próspera.
Com a participação popular efetiva na organização do novo Estado, será possível elaborar uma Constituição e todo o conjunto de leis dela decorrentes, capazes de encarar de frente a questão ambiental com a utilização dos recursos da Natureza em benefício comum, criação de leis e de mecanismos para sua eficaz aplicação contra a corrupção, em favor de um sistema educacional decente que estimule crianças e jovens na busca de um conhecimento com os pés no chão, a criação de instituições como Judiciário, Polícia, Governo que atuem em todos os municípios com uma nova visão do mundo e que os aproveitadores de sempre sejam afastados desse processo.
É dessa forma que está pensando, já, uma parcela crescente do povo organizado, como o grupo representante dos sete municípios reunidos no fim de semana. O resumo da ópera é: vamos dizer um sim crítico, um sim que não significa uma licença aos corruptos e aos aproveitadores de sempre para que continuem traindo a confiança popular por meio da velha demagogia e da promessa fácil e falsa. O sim pretende ser uma manifestação do desejo que algo mude neste rincão do interior desta Amazônia, um sim que não poder sim traído.
Estiveram reunidos representantes de Faro, Juruti, Monte Alegre, Oriximiná, Almeirim, Santarém e Prainha, componto lideranças de sindicatos e associações populares. O encontro versou sobre Justiça Ambiental e Justiça Climática. No sábado, o tempo foi dedicado à reflexão sobre o plebiscito.
