Saúde para famílias ribeirinhas

A saúde é um completo bem estar físico, mental e social que todo o cidadão deve ter. Para adquirir esse pacote é preciso viver em equilíbrio com o meio ambiente e com você. Caso algum desses pre-requisitos estejam funcionando mal é um sinal de alerta, procure uma Unidade Básica de Saúde para fazer uma consulta com o profissional da área.
A Unidade de Saúde da Família Fluvial navio Abaré, realiza a prevenção em saúde ribeirnha desde de 2007, para as famílias dos municípios de Santarém, Aveiro e Belterra da região do rio Tapajós. A Unidade oferece consultas médicas, de enfermagem, odontológicas e visitas domiciliares. As consultas acontecem com o apoio dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde (ACS) desses municípios, que recebem o cronograma do navio com data que irá realizar o atendimento na sua comunidade. O ACS realiza uma triagem de paciente das comunidades que ele trabalha, que será atendido no Abaré e é nessa mesma triagem, verifica uma possível visita domiciliar ou consulta de enfermagem.
A visita domiciliar acontece quando o paciente não consegue caminhar até a Unidade, o médico e a enfermeira da área descem em companhia do Agente, até a residência do doente. Já a consulta de enfermagem é realizada no Abaré, na maioria dos casos por mulheres para a realização do PCCU (Vírus do Papilona humano), acompanhamento de grávidez e orientações para o planejamento familiar.
Trabalhar a prevenção na saúde ribeirinha é objetivo de todas Unidades de Saúde. Mas, é necessário que a população procure ajuda de um profissional, para cuidar de sua saúde e ter vida longa e feliz consigo mesmo.
