A fase da juventude na vida do ser humano é cheia de insegurança e agitação. Na Amazônia não é diferente mas, temos um diferencial nesse contexto: a participação na vida comunitária. Em Vila do Amorim, os jovens têm lugar e voz garantida nas reuniões, palestras e decisões que envolvem a vida de todos.
A comunidade da Vila do Amorim está localizada na região Oeste do Pará, município de Santarém e conta com o Grupo de Jovens Unidos em Cristo, que realizam bingos, rifas e vendas de iguarias como: bolo de macaxeira, sucos, biscoito. Arrecadação da venda é revestida para o aniversário em 10 de Abril. Além disso, essa turma é bastante organizada são em média de 25 jovens, com coordenação: Lucivaldo Vieira; Brenda Priscila a vice; Elioneide Farias a secretaria e Jane Milena dos Santos a tesoureira. Essa juventude é o presente agora.
