A “mão” do Projeto Saúde e Alegria em Boim

Há mais de vinte anos o Projeto Saúde vem transformando a vida de milhares de ribeirinhos dos rios Amazonas, Tapajós e Arapiuns através de seus inúmeros projetos.
O campo de atuação do PSA é na saúde, educação comunitária, incentivo ao eco-turismo, desenvolvimento sustentável, enfim, nas ações que contribuam para uma vida digna aos caboclos amazônicos.
Em Boim, o PSA, iniciou seu trabalho, firmemente, com a implantação do micro-sistema de abastecimento de água, no ano de 2003, apoiado pela prefeitura municipal e outros parceiros.
Contribuiu ainda mais na melhoria de vida dos comunitários com o projeto de filtros d’ água e também pedras sanitárias.
Através da comunicação comunitária incentivou os jovens na criação de um jornal comunitário, também em 2003. O Jornal A Notícia, informativo mensal da vila de Boim, ajudando na comunicação e incentivando o protagonismo juvenil em nossa comunidade. Após o jornal, veio a Rádio Comunitária Integração, balançando ainda mais a comunicação popular. Em 2006, com apoio da comunidade boinense, o PSA restaurava um prédio antigo e implantava o Telecentro Cultural “Boim de Mais”, espaço da propagação do lazer, arte, cultura e conhecimento, com uma sala de informática, biblioteca e um mini-cinema. O Telecentro aguarda apenas a internet que deve ser implantado pelo Governo Federal.
O mais recente trabalho do PSA, em parceria com a VIVO, ainda na comunicação, é com a doação de telefones celulares 3G, que além da comunicação móvel também servem para resgate e preservação do patrimônio artístico e cultural da comunidade através de gravações, vídeos, fotografias, etc.
