VIII Mostra de Educação Ambiental

Demonstrar os processos de Educação Ambiental das escolas de Rios, a partir de uma visão de gestão escolar integrada, baseada em suas vivências e experiências de manejo sustentável dos recursos naturais é objetivo geral da VIII Mostra de Educação Ambiental das Escolas de Várzea que será realizada nos dias 16 e 17 de Dezembro de 2010, no Salão Tapajós, no parque da cidade de Santarém/Pará. Com o tema Cultura e Biodiversidade da Amazônia as comunidades de Aritapera, Ituqui, Tapará, Urucurituba, Curuaí (Lago Grande), e Surucuá (Tapajós), irão demonstrar através de stands, apresentações culturais todo o trabalho desenvolvido no ambiente escolar durante o ano de 2010. Segundo a Fernanda Pimentel, Assessora de Rios SEMED. “Essa iniciativa de Mostra de Educação Ambiental, construídas inicialmente na Várzea do Ituqui e posteriormente expandida para as regiões do Tapará, Urucurituba, Aritapera, com apoio do IPAM, em sua trajetória histórica vem envolvendo anualmente cerca de 200 professores e mais de 10 mil alunos, através do enfoque de temas geradores relacionados à ecologia de Várzea, que buscam uma ligação de aprendizado e transformação, a partir da realidade local”.
