Seminário “O ECA protegendo os filhos da Floresta”

O Projeto Saúde & Alegria realiza desde o ano de 2005 o ‘Programa Crianças da Amazônia’, que tem por objetivo: “…promover a educação popular em favor dos direitos das crianças e dos adolescentes das comunidades ribeirinhas”. O programa utiliza a dimensão lúdica e a educação por meio da comunicação, como formas para sensibilizar a população sobre a importância desses direitos, para melhorar a qualidade de vida, o exercício da cidadania e prevenir situações de riscos, abusos e exploração.
Seminários, oficinas e campanhas com o Circo Mocorongo e a Rede Mocoronga de Comunicação Popular são instrumentos que o projeto utiliza para levar informações, educação e para que consiga mobilizar as comunidades em torno dos direitos das novas gerações de ribeirinhos. A exemplo dos atendimentos na área da saúde com o Barco Abaré, do acompanhamento da saúde da mulher e da criança, dos projetos de educomunicação com jovens, entre tantas atividades vem construindo um novo cenário social em nossa região.
O trabalho que começou em cinco comunidades, hoje já alcança 16 localidades do rio Tapajós, nos Municípios de Santarém, Belterra e Aveiro, a partir de um apoio do Instituto WCF Brasil. Após realizar ações preventivas e educativas, as próprias comunidades já começam a exercer um controle social melhor dos problemas que surgem. O projeto já capacitou uma rede de Agentes Multiplicadores Comunitários do ECA, que divulgam informações e conscientizam suas comunidades.
Pensando nisso, o PSA em parceria com a Rede de Proteção Municipal, como os Conselhos de Direitos e Tutelares, estarão realizando um seminário denominado “O ECA protegendo os filhos da floresta”, visando aproximar a rede de proteção oficial, da rede de agentes comunitários, buscando somar esforços para melhorar e aproximar sua presença da realidade das comunidades ribeirinhas.
Estarão participando os representantes dos órgãos públicos da Rede de Proteção e dois representantes dos agentes multiplicadores do ECA das comunidades ribeirinhas, equipe do PSA e demais convidados e pessoas interessadas. Esse seminário acontecerá no dia 16 de maio, próximo sábado, a partir das 8 horas, com um delicioso café de boas-vindas aos nossos convidados e terminará às 16 horas. Esperamos confiantes de que esse evento possa contribuir com bons resultados para fortalecer ainda mais a Rede de proteção as meninas e meninos ribeirinhas.
Entre os principais temas do seminário estão:
1- Os desafios e resultados de uma abordagem sócio-cultural e educativa do ECA nas comunidades ribeirinhas;
2- Como aproximar a Rede de Proteção dos direitos da criança e adolescente da realidade das comunidades rurais;
3- Como as comunidades podem se organizar em uma rede social e comunitária de proteção dos direitos da Criança e do Adolescente.
