Bazar Design da Mata oferece artesanato da Amazônia e Mata Atlântica

A terceira edição do Bazar Design da Mata evento que inicia hoje em São Paulo, apresenta produtos sustentáveis produzidos por comunidades tradicionais do país: os quilombolas, indígenas, ribeirinhos e caiçaras. As peças são produzidas com palha da palmeira tucumã, fibra da cana arumã, fibra de bananeira e outros materiais extraídos da natureza que imprimem as cores, texturas e cultura dos grupos genuinamente brasileiros. Produtos de grupos apoiados pelo Projeto Saúde e Alegria nas comunidades do rio Arapiuns estarão lá representados.
Todas as peças são artesanais e exclusivas, dentre elas haverá móveis feitos por índios tukanos do Amazonas, jogos americanos produzidos com palha de bananeira trançada por quilombolas do Vale do rio Ribeira de Iguape, sousplats de palha da palmeira tucumã feitos por artesãos que vivem às margens do Rio Arapiuns, no Pará, cestos de fibra da cana arumã trançados por índios baniwa, além de brinquedos e roupas. Os produtos vão custar de R$ 10 a R$ 500.
O valor arrecadado é revertido para os cem artesãos que enviam suas peças, e também será usado para formar um caixa que vai financiar o evento do próximo ano.
Nos dias do bazar, o público também poderá participar de degustações, palestras, oficinas sobre as comunidades produtoras, assistir a vídeos de ecoturismo, e formar parte de bate-papos com os artesãos e vivências culturais.
O evento é promovido pelo Núcleo Oikos, uma associação sem fins lucrativos, criada por iniciativa de um grupo de jovens de São Paulo que visa promover o desenvolvimento da arte e cultura regional que valorizam a comunidade e o meio ambiente.
