Jovens vão discutir cultura e identidade amazônica no XI Encontro da Teia Cabocla

Você conhece paneiro, tucupi, tipiti, taperebá, bacaba? Estas palavras representam apenas alguns dos muitos saberes e sabores que fazem parte do rico repertório cultural das comunidades tradicionais da Amazônia. Antes conhecidos apenas na vida cotidiana entre o rio e a floresta, agora também podem estar acessíveis num vídeo feito com smartphone ou no link de um blog com nome curioso como Nuquini ou Solimões. É o que vai ser mostrado e discutido no XI Encontro da Teia Cabocla, evento que acontece nos dias 03, 04 e 05 de setembro de 2012, reunindo cerca de 150 jovens e lideranças de mais de 50 comunidades dos Rios Tapajós, Amazonas e Arapiuns, no oeste do Pará.
Com o apoio da Fundação Telefônica Vivo desde 2010, a ONG Saúde & Alegria vem realizando nessas comunidades o Projeto Conexão Amazônica. Através da ampliação do acesso às tecnologias de informação, está contribuindo para promover o desenvolvimento comunitário que, entre outros benefícios, cria novas oportunidades educativas e de expressão cultural. O evento contará com a presença da presidente da Fundação Telefônica, Françoise Trapenard, do gerente de Desenvolvimento Local, Kleber Araújo, e do coordenador da área, Fernando Elias.
Este encontro que está na sua décima primeira edição, também é um momento em que representantes de Comissões Locais de Educação Popular, Agentes Multiplicadores dos Direitos das Crianças e Adolescentes, Monitores de Telecentros para Inclusão Digital e Repórteres da Rede Mocoronga de comunicação popular se encontram. No primeiro o momento, vão avaliar as ações que estão desenvolvendo de forma integrada num grande Arranjo Educativo Intercomunitário para a promoção da cidadania, da saúde comunitária, dos direitos das crianças e adolescentes e da cultura das comunidades ribeirinhas.
Território, cultura e identidade em pauta
O território é o espaço marcado pelas características geográficas, pelas relações humanas e pela cultura construída no lugar onde se vive. O reconhecimento do território e a ampliação da visão da realidade é um dos passos fundamentais para o exercício da cidadania. “Com todas essas mudanças, compreender melhor onde estão, porque estão, como se identificam e o que os une é importante para uma interação mais harmônica e construtiva. Temos trabalhado muito a educação ambiental e dinâmicas de mapeamento participativo a partir da percepção das próprias comunidades. Com isso, estamos gerando, por exemplo, uma série de publicações na forma de cartilhas chamadas Prazer em Conhecer, onde todas as informações e os conhecimentos sistematizados retornam pra elas, que podem usá-las como ferramenta para a gestão comunitária, nas escolas como materiais didáticos adaptados, e inclusive trocar com outras localidades”, explica Caetano Scannavino, coordenador geral do PSA.
Ao mesmo tempo, a cultura sempre esteve em evidência nas estratégias do projeto, e agora terá uma abordagem destacada para valorizar as experiências da Rede Mocoronga, em que rádios, jornais, blogs comunitários e núcleos de produção audiovisual com uso de celulares já produzem conteúdos culturais.
Os jovens das comunidades estão vivenciando um processo de transição cultural importante, em que ainda mantém laços que os ligam com sua cultura tradicional, mas ao mesmo tempo estão movidos a interagir com o mundo moderno, que começa a chegar mais aceleradamente nas comunidades. “Acreditamos que é possível desenvolver um processo de mediação sócio cultural que empodere os jovens com o uso da tecnologia para sejam eles próprios os documentadores e difusores da cultura local, formando um nova geração antenada no mundo, desenvolvendo seus potenciais ao mesmo tempo em que valorizam sua identidade cultural”, afirma Fábio Pena, da coordenação de educação do PSA.
Para mobilizar cada vez mais os jovens e lideranças comunitárias, “o encontro vai contar com debates sobre o contexto da cultura e a identidade amazônica, resgatando elementos importantes da historicidade local, dos saberes e fazeres das comunidades, das manifestações artísticas, enfim, do ser população tradicional da Amazônia. E também o potencial de visibilidade dessas culturas na sociedade em rede que vivemos hoje, e que cada vez mais as comunidades estão tendo oportunidade de participar, não apenas como receptoras, mas principalmente como produtoras de conhecimentos”, explica Paulo Lima, coordenador de ações de cultura digital.
Também será feito um mapeamento participativo de elementos históricos, artísticos e culturais das comunidades, para que cada vez mais sejam pauta das produções da Rede Mocoronga, para aumentar sua valorização, a auto estima do povo tapajônico, e também para que o Brasil e mundo conheça mais sobre quem somos.
Oficinas vão integrar arte e cultura digital
O encontro da Teia Cabocla reserva espaço ainda para que os participantes possam participar de oficinas em que diversas linguagens artistas, como música, circo, dança e artes plásticas, serão experimentadas para expressar os elementos culturais mapeados no evento, juntamente com as linguagens da cultura digital, como rádio, vídeo, blog e redes sociais. Ao final do encontro, tudo será apresentado numa grande noite cultural no Circo Mocorongo.
“Os jovens vão mostrar com quantas talas se faz um tipiti, ou melhor, vão mostrar que quando a cultura popular se encontra com a cultura digital, a Amazônia pode ser melhor difundida”, comenta Fábio Pena. O tipiti é um utensílio artesanal usado no processo de produção da farinha de mandioca.
MocorOscar – tapete vermelho para as produções de vídeo da Rede Mocoroga
Durante a Teia Cabocla, acontecerá também a premiação para os vídeos produzidos pelas comunidades durante o primeiro semestre de 2012, especialmente aquelas que participaram das oficinas de produção audiovisual com o uso de smartphones. Na noite de terça-feira, dia 04, os vídeos serão exibidos e o tapete vermelho será estendido para valorizar os talentos ribeirinhos. Os produtores, cinegrafistas, editores e atores protagonistas são as pessoas das próprias comunidades. É a Amazônia do caboclo, pelo caboclo da Amazônia.

A participação efetiva das comunidades na realização deste projeto deixa claro que a idéia de “cultura, como algo perdido a ser resgatado” vem sendo superada, pois ela está presente e em raizada em nosso ser. Parabenizo a todos os envolvidos e fico feliz em ver duas idéias, as quais pareciam tão distintas (Cultura x tecnologias), caminhando de forma tão sincrônica, que faz lembrar os ritmos de nosso carimbó.
