As comunidades de Vila Franca, Maripá, Capixauã, Suruacá, Vila Amorim, Cabeceira do Amorim, Enseada do Amorim , Parauá, Muratuba, Paricatuba, Nuquini e Samaúma no município de Santarém , realizam suas atividades diariamente e também participam da Rede Mocoronga com atividades de Vídeo Participativo, Rádio, Jornal e Telecentro Comunitário desenvolvendo uma comunicação comunitária integrando à Rede Mocoronga.
No mês de Janeiro, a Rede Mocoronga embarcou na Unidade de Saúde da Família Fluvial – navio Abaré, para balançar essa turma jovem que faz comunicação nas rádios comunitárias de suas comunidades de um jeito bem diferente. A turma da rádio Japiim, em Suruacá acorda todos na comunidade exatamente às cinco da manhã, já as outras rádios, funcionam de acordo com a programação acordada em grupo.
A rádio ACM de Cabeceira do Amorim acorda o povo na quarta-feira às seis horas com o programa Trocando ideias; a rádio Anúncio do Ciriri de Maripá anima as manhãs de domingo com o técnico de som Rômulo Gabriel; a rádio Capixaba faz o convite para as reuniões comunitárias e avisa da chegada dos visitantes; A rádio Raio de Sol de Muratuba está suspensa as atividades devido um raio que danificou parte dos equipamentos, mas logo estará brilhando nas ondas comunitárias e as demais seguem com as suas programações. E claro, o ano começou e as mudanças são inevitáveis: as trocas de lideranças, o repasse de cargo, a busca por estudo na cidade, novas ideias e novos planos de como vamos balançar a grande Rede nas comunidades ribeirinhas.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a
sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely
