No Conexões Urbanas desta quarta-feira (25/08), Jose Junior, apresentador do Programa e coordenador do Projeto AfroReggae, desembarca em Santarém, no Pará, para conhecer o Saúde e Alegria, uma ONG que desencadeou um conjunto de iniciativas de desenvolvimento comunitário integrado e sustentável aqui região.
A chamada do programa anuncia:
O projeto atua diretamente na vida de cerca de 30 mil pessoas, principalmente as populações rurais, dos municípios de Belterra, Aveiro e Santarém. Entre as ações, estão a distribuição de cloro às comunidades ribeirinhas para combater a diarréia e desenvolver iniciativas para reduzir os altos índices de mortalidade infantil. Além de atendimentos médicos, o Saúde treina voluntários locais e cria uma rede de agentes multiplicadores. O conceito é: promover saúde para o corpo e alegria para a alma. Os programas da ONG envolvem todos os segmentos e faixas etárias – lideranças, produtores rurais, monitores de saúde, parteiras tradicionais, mulheres, professores, jovens e crianças – estimulando a auto-gestão.
O Conexões Urbanas vai ao ar no canal Multishow sempre as quartas-feiras, às 23h. Apresentação: Jose Junior. Produção: AfroReggae e Direção de Rafael Dragaud. O programa pode ainda ser conferido em horários alternativos: Quintas : 5h30 e 13h; Sábados: 13h30; Domingos: 7h e Terças: 16h.

I’m not sure exactly why but this blog is loading extremely slow for me.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a
sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
